The loss of males in the age groups 20-40 in Yugoslavia, is remarkable, if perhaps obvious. More surprising is that the increasing loss of older males, with age, is smaller for Yugoslavia than for the other Balkan countries.

Hungary has a greater disproportion of male/female ratios with age.
