Both Greece and Spain have grown vigorously since the 50s. Both seem destined
to begin to reverse this trend about now. In contrast Italy and Portugal
sufered interruptions in their development; The former during the late
80s and the latter in the 1960s, after which it took a recovery path which
has persisted until about now.
See
how these changes are reflected in the age distribution of the current
population.
