Today is our TENTH BIRTHDAY!

Issue number one hundred and twenty (December 2010) in a series of Signposts from WorldU3A International, sent once a month to U3A members anywhere in the world.

Please send snippets of possible interest to the editor, Tom Holloway.
Feel free to copy any or all of this information in your newsletters.

The editor sends a special birthday thanks to Sharen McDonald of the McGill Institute for Learning in Retirement for her support. Sharen sponsors one of the children in the community school supported by U3A Hyderabad and the WorldU3A Service -- see http://msfoundationschool.org/sponsors.html -- and found it so rewarding that she gave sponsorship of three of our kept-from-school girls to her three grand-children as a present. They have reacted warmly to the idea and and an exchange of photographs is now underway.
