Dementia Carers: Support is available to carers of people with dementia. Carers who are already caring for someone with a diagnosis of dementia have rights to information, advice and support. Senior Citizens Council of Delhi organized an interaction session with the Senior Citizens residing in Safdarjung Enclave in association with Wellness Health & You to provide Primary Health Care at their door steps on 18/01/2015 at Green Fields School, in which Senior Citizens of Safdarjung Enclave participated in a large number.

Prof. Jugal Kishore from Maulana Azad Medical College, J.R. Gupta, Chairperson, Confederation of Senior Citizens Associations of Delhi and Dr. G. S. Grewal were on the dias along with doctors S/Shri Amarjeet Singh, B. B. Gupta, Sharad Garg, Jitendra Kailash & H. S. Yadav.


The high light of the session was the frank, open and purposeful interaction between the elders and the doctors for providing primary health services. The interaction focused to find solutions on how we can narrow the gap between the service providers and the service users.
