This web page is intended as a supplement to the WorldU3A [support] email list. It seeks to provide a basic introduction to the construction and use of MS Access databases.

My name is Paul Baron and I have had a long if not particularly deep relationship with MS Access and have found that it can more than pay its way in the help it can give to organising your local U3A Group. I am also designer and webmaster of the UK National U3A website www.u3a.org.uk.

It is often cracking the intial steep learning curve which discourages people when they approach databases. It is undoubtedly a whole new world but one which is filled with exciting possibilities. For that reason there are two supplements to this page which you might care to sample.
