1. My name is Peter Sinclair of Harrow U3A.
Harrow is a suburb located in the N-W of London (GB)

2. We have at present almost 1400 members

Our activities are very numerous, about 80 active study/activity groups including various sub-groups under Arts & Crafts, History & Current Affairs, Languages, Music, Sociology & Sciences as well as Social , Recreational and Travel. Additionally we invite outside speakers once a month, at General Meetings, who give talks on a large range of topical subjects, .

4. Harrow U3A offers all retired members of the local community an opportunity to meet like minded men and women to share common interests and to acquire from each other the expertise and knowledge gained during the many years of being a bread winner. There is no distinction between those who 'teach' and those who 'learn'

5. I started a U3A project in 1996 to 'collect' and publicize LINKS to as many U3A websites as possible from all over the world. These links to websites include those of any local organization with 'Learning' aims and objectives comparable to those of U3A, provided there is no commercial aspect involved.
