Ageless
Inspirations is a registered Charitable Organization in Botswana addressing
age-friendly services of the older people, 55 years and over.
Ageless Inspirations
interest is in issues of age with rights, lifelong learning, lifeskills
for older adults and research on older adults, looking at older adults’
lives holistically; their rights, health, recreation and socio-economic
aspects. Apart from being fully registered as an NGO in Botswana, Ageless
Inspirations was granted accreditation to the UN general Assembly Open-Ended
Working Group on Ageing at meeting held 3-6 April 2023 at the United Nations
Headquarters in New York.
It also made its first appearance
at the International Federation on Ageing (IFA) 16th Global Conference
held at Bangkok, Thailand, 27-30 June 2023 as one of the partners with
IFA. It is also a valued member of Pass It On Network (PION), a global
recognized organization based in France that offers a worldwide peer-learning
network for active aging, sharing best practices, and shaping positive
expectations for meaningful work and lifelong learning for older. Ageless
Inspirations’ main goal is to advocate for, provide support and develop
integrated sustainable plans rights of all third agers
(55 years and older).

Intergrated Care for Older People
The Health and Active Aging Implementation Framework for Botswana was launched by the Minstry of Health and all stakeholders, including Ageless Inspirations participated. The Minister of Health and Wellness was the guest of honour and It was well attended. Kudos to all stakeholders.
The Intergrated Care for Older People(ICOPE) guidelines was also launched on the 21st of February, 2024 in Gaborone
Global Alliance for the
Rights of Older People
This statement is made on behalf of Ageless Inspirations of Botswana.
The mission of the Global Alliance is to support and enhance civil society’s
engagement at national, regional and international levels on the need
for a new international instrument on the rights of older persons.
Established in 2011, the Global Alliance for the Rights of Older People was born out of the need to strengthen the rights and voice of older people globally. Today, GAROP is a network of over 380 members in around 80 countries worldwide.
GAROP is governed by a global Steering Group elected by our members and supported by a Secretariat Coordinator.
Ageless Inspirations celebrated Older People's Day with a touch of elegance in Gaborone on October 22, 2023. Our vibrant Ageless Inspirations youths donned branded t-shirts and engaged in a series of delightful activities alongside their esteemed older counterparts. From dance lessons to spirited games of musical chairs, generations united in merriment.
